Using Kerakoll Feather Patch Repair / Smoothing Compound
An 11kg bag requires 3.85 litres of water: add the powder slowly to the pre-measured water while mixing with an electric paddle until smooth and lump free, and do not add further water once mixed. Trowel the mortar onto the prepared surface with a steel trowel and do not exceed 3mm total depth; the mix stays workable for 10 to 15 minutes at 23 degrees C. In ideal conditions it sets after 15 minutes and can then be covered with a smoothing compound or the finished floorcovering, and it cannot be used as a final wearing surface.
