Choosing between ranges

Look at the exact thickness, wear layer, use classification, dimensions, texture and warranty. A thicker wear layer does not on its own prove a longer lifespan, scratch resistance or commercial suitability. Compare samples for appearance and the current specification for performance.

Preparation and adhesive selection

Have the subfloor assessed for moisture, stability and surface regularity before ordering preparation materials. Your installer should specify a compatible primer, smoothing or boarding system where needed, plus an adhesive approved for the exact floorcovering and conditions.

Room suitability and ordering

Check product-specific approval for bathrooms, underfloor heating and commercial use. Neither glue-down nor click construction automatically makes a floor suitable for a shower or wet room.

Agree the layout and cutting allowance, calculate whole packs and include preparation, adhesive, trims and fitting in your project budget. Request available samples or send your room measurements and chosen product for a supply quote.
