About Furlong Emerald 189

Emerald is Furlong Flooring's core engineered oak collection, built on a stable multiply core under a 3mm layer of real oak that can be sanded and re-finished over its life. The 14mm board and tongue-and-groove joint suit floating, bonded or secret-nailed installation, including over underfloor heating within the maker's limits.

Installation

Supplied tongue-and-groove for floating installation over a suitable underlay, full bonding with a wood-flooring adhesive, or secret nailing to a timber subfloor. Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48 hours and check subfloor moisture before fitting. Real wood is not recommended for bathrooms or wet areas.
