Using Stycco Flex

Apply the adhesive in straight linear beads with a heavy duty applicator gun, never in a snake or zig zag pattern, as that significantly reduces bond strength. On absorbent surfaces run 5mm wide beads 5mm in from the outer edge of a nosing plus a centre bead, then press the two surfaces together within the open time. When bonding metal nosings to metal or other smooth non-absorbent substrates, mist the area with water first to speed the through cure, and always check the bond is secure before opening the area to traffic. It is not suitable for use on bitumen, asphalt, polyethylene or polypropylene surfaces.
