Herringbone LVT and parquet-effect flooring

Choose the design and specification together
View a sample beside your furniture and in different light, then check the exact product's thickness, wear layer, use classification and warranty. A wear-layer measurement alone does not establish equivalent performance to a branded floor or approval for a commercial setting.

Plan the pattern before counting packs
Agree the centre line, border, plank direction and cuts with your installer. Herringbone quantities depend on the room shape and layout, so a fixed cutting allowance is not suitable for every job. Use the selected product's actual coverage and round up to complete packs after agreeing the allowance.

Preparation and fitting
For glue-down products, specify the subfloor preparation and compatible adhesive as a complete system. Follow the exact flooring and adhesive instructions for trowel selection, room conditions, working times and rolling. Do not assume F44 or one trowel notch is right for every product and site.
Check bathroom and underfloor-heating approval separately. A vinyl surface or rigid core does not waterproof a shower or wet-room construction, and laminate alternatives should also be assessed by their specific room approvals.
