All five are glue-down LVT. The difference is the wear layer, which is what decides how much traffic the floor will take and how long it lasts. Start at the top for the keenest price, work down for a tougher floor.

Woods LVT from £12.58/m². 2mm, 0.4mm wear layer, 6 colours. Our entry range. Best for rentals, quick refurbs and rooms that need to look good on a tight budget.

Style from £15.16/m². 2mm, 0.3mm residential wear layer, 8 colours. The everyday choice for homes. There is a matching Style Parquet herringbone range if you want the pattern.

Attraction from £19.78/m². 2.5mm, 0.55mm dry-back, 22 colours. The widest choice of shades we stock, with a wear layer that handles family homes and light commercial.

Impression from £20.45/m². 2.5mm, 0.55mm wear layer, 8 colours. Deeper embossing and a more realistic grain than Attraction, same durability class.

Grande from £28.34/m². 2.5mm, 0.7mm commercial wear layer, 8 colours. Our toughest glue-down LVT. Specify this for shops, offices, surgeries and busy hallways.
How this compares to the premium brands
Karndean Art Select sits around £64.84/m². Grande, our commercial-grade range with a 0.7mm wear layer, is £28.34/m². That is the same glue-down format, the same wood and stone looks, and a wear layer in the same class, at well under half the price.
We are not asking you to take that on trust. Order a free sample of whichever own-brand shade you like alongside the branded one you were considering, and put them side by side on your own floor in your own light. Most people stop worrying about the badge at that point.

Which wear layer do I actually need?

0.3mm to 0.4mm suits bedrooms, lounges, rentals and anywhere with normal domestic footfall.

0.55mm is the sensible default for kitchens, hallways, family homes with pets and children, and light commercial use.

0.7mm is a commercial specification. Choose it for retail floors, waiting rooms, offices and anywhere a mop and a lot of feet meet daily.
Paying for more wear layer than the room needs is the most common way people overspend on LVT. Paying for less is the most common way they end up relaying it.
Installing glue-down LVT
Every range on this page is glue-down. You will need:
- F-Ball Styccobond F44 LVT adhesive, in our adhesives range
- A notched spreader trowel, A2 or B1 notch
- A flat, dry, level subfloor. Use F-Ball Stopgap levelling compound if it is not
- A sharp utility knife or an LVT cutter
- A tape measure and a chalk line
Let the planks acclimatise in the room for 24 to 48 hours first. Set a centre line, spread adhesive in sections you can lay before it skins over, and roll the floor afterwards to get full transfer.

Glue-down LVT FAQs
Is own-brand LVT as good as Karndean or Polyflor?
For the same wear layer, yes. A 0.55mm own-brand plank and a 0.55mm branded plank are built to the same durability class. What you are not paying for is the brand's marketing and their distributor's margin. Order free samples and compare them directly.
Is any of this waterproof?
Glue-down LVT is water-resistant rather than fully waterproof. It copes with spills, mopping and humidity without warping. For a fully waterproof floor in a bathroom or wet room, choose SPC click flooring instead.
Can I lay it over underfloor heating?
Yes, up to a 27°C subfloor surface temperature. Check the spec on the individual product page for the exact figure.
How many boxes do I need?
Box coverage differs by range, so use the per square metre price to compare and the coverage figure on the product page to count boxes. Measure the room, add 10% for cutting waste, then divide by the box coverage and round up.
