Polyflor Flooring: Compare LVT Ranges

Compare Polyflor flooring by installation method, room use and the exact product specification. Camaro PUR, Camaro Rigid Core PUR, Colonia PUR and Expona Commercial PUR are different ranges: a shared brand name does not make their thickness, wear layer or installation requirements interchangeable.

Which Polyflor range should you choose?

  • Camaro PUR: glue-down luxury vinyl tiles and planks, 2.0mm overall with a 0.3mm wear layer. Polyflor identifies residential and light-commercial applications.
  • Camaro Rigid Core PUR: click SPC flooring, 5.5mm overall with a 0.3mm wear layer and integrated IXPE underlay. This is a different installation system from Camaro glue-down.
  • Colonia PUR: residential glue-down LVT, 2.0mm overall with a 0.2mm wear layer. Do not specify it as a heavy-commercial range.
  • Expona Commercial PUR: LVT planks and tiles, 2.5mm overall with a 0.55mm wear layer. It is not sheet vinyl.

These are range-level specifications. Check the selected design code, format and current technical sheet before ordering, especially where similar colours appear in more than one collection.

Compare the total project cost

Start with the current product price per square metre, then check pack coverage and the whole-pack quantity needed for your room. Include the cutting allowance agreed with your fitter. A lower supply price does not necessarily mean a lower installed total: preparation, adhesive or approved underlay, trims and labour all need to be considered.

Glue-down or click?

Glue-down LVT is bonded to a suitable prepared base using a compatible installation system. Click flooring forms a floating floor and has its own requirements for base flatness, movement gaps and transitions. Neither method removes the need to assess moisture and subfloor condition. Check suitability before purchase

Tell your installer about underfloor heating, direct sunlight, wet areas, heavy furniture and adjoining floor levels. Use the exact product's installation instructions and warranty terms; do not assume that every Polyflor floor is suitable for a wet room or carries the same guarantee.

Compare samples at home

Request flooring samples to compare tone and texture in your own light. Confirm the product code as well as the colour name, then check dimensions, pack coverage and availability on the product listing.
