Using Stopgap F77
Combine the two parts and mix with a low speed electric drill until a uniform colour is achieved, then apply with the 1.5mm x 5mm trowel supplied, or a Styccobond A2 trowel, and spread out with a pre-coated roller. The black pigment lets you see the coating going on and control the coverage rate, which is what determines the RH level the membrane will hold back. Working time is 30 minutes at 20°C and the membrane cures in around 3 hours, allowing a Stopgap smoothing compound and floorcoverings to follow the same day on fast track programmes.
