Using Stopgap 500

No priming is necessary. Mix by volume two parts powder to one part clean water by hand, always adding the powder to the water and working it to a stiff, lump free consistency, and mix only what you can use inside the 15 to 20 minute working time; an 8kg unit takes 4.5 litres of water. Scratch it out evenly with a steel trowel over plywood, existing smoothing compounds or screeds, and note that best results come from micro-coat application at less than 1mm, which is dry enough for floorcoverings after 25 minutes.
