Using Stopgap 400

Dampen absorbent surfaces with water first; very absorbent surfaces need priming with dilute Stopgap P131, and non-absorbent surfaces must be primed with neat Stopgap P141. For a standard mix use three to four parts powder to one part water, pouring the water in first and adding the powder gradually with a power whisk until smooth and lump free; a 10kg unit takes 2.3 litres of water and the working time is 10 to 15 minutes. Above 20mm use a filled mix by adding Stopgap graded aggregate at one part by volume to one part powder, then follow with a Stopgap smoothing compound from 90 minutes at 2mm.
